Students:
To earn a free book, please read at least the number of books listed for your grade level. These books should be at an appropriate level for you. If you read more, that’s great!

Time Magazine's List of the 100 Best Young Adult Books

What do you think of this list? How many of the titles have you read? BTW, some of these books are too "high schoolish" to be offered in the Hixson Library. There are also lots of classics, but I suppose that's what the phrase "of All Time" means! See me if you have questions about acquiring any of them.

Welcome, Webster READERS!

Welcome to 2016-17 at Hixson Middle School! We’re hoping that visits to the Hixson Library blog will become a regular part of your school day and even after school time.

Who participated in Webster READS! this summer?
Have you read three books? Then, you have! If you completed the summer reading program at your public library, you can receive credit at Hixson, also.

Complete the form, listing title and author and have a parent initial. Turn the form in to your ELA teacher or the Hixson LMC.  If you don’t have the official form, just write the information on other paper (notebook-size, please, so it’s easy to stack).
